Youth night at our house!

Tonight was the first night that we had the older girls at the orphanage over to our house for a time of sharing, bible study and spending time with them.

It has been a prayer of ours for a while to get this started. They had been attending the youth group of one of the local churches, but because of different circumstances where no longer attending. We feel that it is important for them to get out of the orphanage for a little, spend time in a home atmosphere, and study the Word of God.

It is also a blessing for them to spend more time with Cinthia; because of the pregnancy she is not able to get down to the orphanage as much. The plan is to do different activities with them each week, and some time in the future on different nights have a couple of girls over for girl-time with my wife while I go out with Daniel.

Tonight we had the 14 girls over, and taught them how to make cookies...then we played some games, and were able to spend time together.

Please pray as we continue to work with the children and youth at the orphanage, that God would continue to open the doors and allow us to minister to them; and that He will meet each of their needs...we cannot humanly do it, especially considering the different stories of each of these young ladies. Unfortunatley many christians do not understand this, and try to fit them into a mold by their teaching, and this can cause many different problems. Bit He is faithful!!
