Please keep PucaChicta in your prayers!
This is the village we were working in before the ArosemenaTola church plant. What started out as visiting one family, who attended church, became a kids club, and is now a church plant!
This is a wonderful testimony and example of our goal here in the ministry..training up local Christians to work in the Kingdom of God! Our good friends Luis Ivan and Edilma are still at the head of this work, with a number of families attending! Between the kids club and the simultaneous Saturday preaching service, anywhere between 40 and 60 people are being reached each week!
They now have property to build a church house, and have started their own fundraising events as well! One of them is that they have built a small henhouse made out of the local bamboo, with chickens and feed being donated, and the kids will take care of them as they grow...and they will sell them when grown to raise money for the church construction!
Below is a picture of the lot for the building, and the handmade chicken house!
Please keep this community in your prayers! They are over an hour outside of the city, in the jungle, but once a month, they all come out for Sunday service in Tena as well. This will be one of the main ministries to which monetary support will be sent during our time in the US.
