Worshiping in Song

I had a great time in Tena last night and today. It was great to be able to stop by and see my parents, as well as be able to visit the people there that I have not seen in a while.

Saturday was the third and final night in the outdoor location, where PTL it did not rain, and more than 400 people gathered to hear the Word shared by the visiting preacher from Costa Rica. I arrived early, and was able to help with getting chairs from another church building and setting them up for the service.

Sunday morning was in the church building, and I was able to help out by setting up the sound system and making sure that there was a good sound quality. I was also able to help minister along with the worship team in singing and playing the Bass guitar. What a blessing to be able to worship the Lord in that way again!

It was also a blessing to see people there from the church that we started in Zamora 3 years ago; to be able to share with them and to see that they are still growing strongly, and that the church there is growing strongly. PTL! I also had the opportunity to talk to a couple of young people from Tena that were with us when we had the youth ministry there, and have since walked away from the Lord. To be able to share with and encourage them, and to see the tears in their eyes, made everything worth it, even the very very short night. To God be the glory!
