Daniels' birthday

My how time flies by!! It seems like just last month that I was in the hospital waiting for my first child to be born. Daniel is now 4 years old and growing very big!! We are so proud of him, and so thankful to our Lord that he entrusted this precious life in our hands...we couldn't ask for a better son!

Yesterday, Friday, we had a special time at the Casa de Fe school for his birthday. It was a surprise for him, and he was very surprised!! A huge thank you to the teachers there that helped us in planning and making it a special time for him.

Daniels teacher first did several songs and goes, including musical chairs, and then I lead them on a treasure hunt! That was a very exciting time for them! First we looked for a treasure chest, and then we had to use a second map to find the key to open the chest!! It was well worth it though, as the inside was full of candy and crackers! At the end we had cake and soda. What a way to share your birthday with your friends!

Today, Saturday, which is his birthday, my parents came over to have a nice family time with him. We had a special meal, and then cupcakes and his present! We were able to get him a toy that he has been wanting and even praying for every evening, and he was truly excited, not only to have the toy, but to see how God answered his prayers. It was a great Birthday!!
