Comfort Those that Weep

Today we went to the wake of an older gentleman who passed away. We rented an apartment from him for a number of months, and so know his wife and some of the family very well. The deceased's sister also works at Casa de Fe, so we know her as well. Were able to take the opportunity and share some peace from the scriptures, and the family were very thankful that we had taken the time to visit.

Death is a common thing that happens daily around us, and it can be so easy to become callous...but once it visits someone close to us, the reality hits us once again. We are frail creatures, and it is so important that we do not allow anything to separate us from our walk with the Lord, because the time comes to young and old alike.
