Street ministry
Tonight, after the big day at the river and time together as a family, I went into Puyo to do some street ministry with the local church that evangelized on the streets Friday evenings. Some of the team that is visiting Casa de Fe came along with us, and because there was such a big group, they split into two groups, one to go to the homeless shelter and share the word and food, while they asked me to lead the group that went to minister on the streets to the teenage prostitutes and whom ever else we met. My group mostly consisted of Ladies, but a couple of us guys went along just to be sure that they were safe and nothing happened.
Unfortunately, we didn't see a whole lot of people, as there was a big event going on in another part of the city. None of the teenage prostitutes were out, but we were able to talk to one travesti and several other people on the streets. Afterwards, we went to the bus terminal to hand out food and talk to some of the people there, and it was a good time with many conversations; I was able to challenge a couple of young people that know about God to read their bibles and listen to God's voice once again.
