Children's Campaign in Puyo

Yesterday we had a great day at the Christian Missionary Alliance church in Puyo!

We have been assisting Pastor Victor for some time now, through some hard times in the church, and God has proven faithful!! Now that the church is on it's feet again, and going strong, they wanted to start their children's ministry again. So we were asked to help them form their kids club, and to hold a big event in the church Saturday morning.

It was a great time of singing, playing games, winning prizes, puppet stories, handing out gifts, food, and sharing the bible story with the children! We had around 75 kids present, which was a really good number, and they were very attentive to the whole program! We had been practicing for a couple of weeks beforehand, with the pastor, his wife, and another sister who will be in charge of the Sunday school, teaching them a few things, and it was a great success!

As always, I dressed up as a soldier, in battle dress, and the kids really liked that! We did some songs and games, and were able to buy all of the prizes for the kids. We also taught the pastor how to do puppets, and the story we presented together was a huge hit for the kids. Cinthia also helped directing the program and being the dj. :-) The pastor, his wife, and the Sunday school teacher all dressed up as clowns.

We will continue to watch over and assist this kids club, but are confident that God will continue to do great things in this ministry!! Thank you for partnering with us, and allowing these children to have a great day, as well as the prizes, toys and Sunday school materials we were able to give the church.
