Passing on the Baton

So, with us moving to Napo, we have been looking for and preparing people to take over the kids club here in Shell. One family who have been attending the training workshops very faithfully, and are also assisting in the upcoming VBS, lives here in Shell; and after talking with the, they agreed to continue the club once we are gone, and hold it at their house! We are so thankful to God for his faithfulness! Over the last few years, many kids have come and gone through the kids club, as the goal is always to assist them and their families in finding a local church. Some continue to come even after they are part of a local church, others their parents do not go to church, and this is the only biblical teaching that the children receive.

We held the last two kids clubs before summer break at this families house, and even with most of the kids away on vacation, we had 18 kids present. It was a great time spent together, and instructing them on how to continue, giving advise on certain key points in the ministry, etc. We will continue to work alongside the club, providing oversight, support, materials, etc.. as is the case with many of the other ones around the Puyo area.
