Sharing Valentines day with those who really need it!

We had been feeling that it would be a good idea to visit a sister from the church plant, who is a single mother with 4 boys in High school/university. Abandoned many years ago, they have strived to stay afloat and sacrificed a lot to be at the place they are today.

We are so glad that we listened to the Spirit's leading! After the visit, the sister shared about how they had talked about how today would just be another sad, normal day for them..but God had one of his moments in store for this family!

Grabbing some pizza and soda on our way, we showed up on their door with food, games and a bible! We then spent the next hour and a half laughing, eating and playing Uno and chess. (Edit several months later, she still talks about this day, saying it will be one of her most treasured moments of a tangible showing of God's love for her and her boys!)
